The 21st Century Super Visa Medical Insurance plan applies to family, friends, recently arrived immigrants, Canadians returning to the country while their provincial health coverage takes effect, international students, and anyone entering the country on a work visa. Maximum Coverage Benefits: The 21st century super visa insurance provides a maximum coverage benefit of $15,000, $25,000, $50,000, $100,000, $150,000, and $200,000.
Emergency hospitalization: Depending on the medical severity, semi-private or intensive care unit housing, services given by a registered physician, including diagnostic services such as x-rays and laboratory testing. Moreover, it includes complimentary medical equipment, including walkers, braces, and crutches.
Ambulance Transportation: A licensed local ambulance service is used for ambulance transportation.
Emergency Air Transportation: Avail the cost of a one-way economy flight, stretcher or air ambulance transfer to your nation of origin, and a medical attendant if necessary.
Prescription drugs: A 30-day supply that does not exceed CAD 500.
Emergency Dental Services: We agree to pay up to CAD 300 for a dental emergency and up to CAD 4,000 for dental replacement or similar repair of teeth injured by an accident or physical harm.
Repatriation: A maximum of CAD 7,500 is available for preparing and transporting your remains to your home country for burial or cremation. It should be noted that the cost of the urn or coffin is not covered.
Accidental death benefit: According to the insurance policy, up to CAD 25,000 is available.
Flight to Traveller's Home: If the visitor departs the country before their scheduled departure date, the coverage plan will provide a flight back to the visitor's host country with a necessary stop-over, but you must not leave the airport.
Telephone Medical services: The holder of this plan always has 24/7 access, no matter the time of day or night, to a team of trained medical professionals who are ready to assess and diagnose any issues that may arise.
If you purchase coverage to prolong your trip, you will be issued a new policy with policy terms beginning on the effective date specified on your policy confirmation. 2.If you buy two plans back-to-back with no break between the expiration date of the first and the effective date of the second, a waiting period will apply if you reduce your deductible, switch from a 21st-century plan that does not cover stable pre-existing medical conditions to one that does, or increase your aggregate policy maximum (sum insured).
To file a claim, complete a claim form and attach the original medical bills, receipts, and invoices (always keep a copy for your records), your medical and/or hospital record (diagnosis, X-ray, lab tests confirming that the treatment was medically necessary), and a copy of the police report (in the case of a Motor Vehicle Accident) and mail it to:
